trends in 2011

2010 was a strong year in fashion. The return of colour, form and ladylike dressing were well received globally and certainly got my creative juices flowing. Looking forward, It seems as though anything is possible in 2011. Want to wear a turban with your evening dress? Sure. Flowing skirts with army boots? This can work well too. Well, of course being the key word here. The challenge is to wear it well.

That challenge looks like it's still on for 2011 as we are thrust into a kaleidoscope of contrasting trends. Prints and blocking are both strong, the 70's and minimalism clash in the lineup and flowing pajama wear emerges along with tailored classic styling. Consider this a brief to create your very own play palette. Enjoy the show!
